Sapphic Speed Dating
You’re invited to join us for our first ever Sapphic Speed Dating event! This event if for ages 25-40, all preferences and styles of relationships are welcome. This is a sapphic focused event & LGBTQIA+ friendly. That includes, but is not limited to all lesbians, bisexuals, nonbinary, trans, queer, ace, etc bookish babes looking for chemistry and connection.
What should I expect?
Expect to meet people! Every attendee will have their own reason for showing up so come ready to mix, mingle, and connect authentically.
We encourage you to show up no later than 6pm, sign in, grab a drink of choice and get ready for 10 min rounds to connect with your dates. We will provide an intermission at 7pm. Before you leave you will give the host your top 3 speed dating picks. If your picks match with you as well, you will be given their name & phone number within 2 business days after the event for you both to proceed with connecting with one another.
What is the vibe?
The vibe is snappy casual dress, an intimate setting at our bookstore, and cultivating chemistry and connection. Don’t harsh it, seriously. It can be nerve-wracking to put yourself out there, but we hope you come into the space as yourself, with an open mind, and have a fun time. Who knows, you may meet your next connection, friend, or partner. That's the exciting part, anything can happen.
Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely! We just ask that your friend(s) are aware of the vibes and RSVP for the event so we can get an accurate headcount prior to the event.
I’m ENM or Poly, is this event for me?
Of course, this event is for all relationship styles. We have a scout’s honor approach to disclosing that information so it’s up to you to share what you would like about your personal life.
Are matches guaranteed?
Due to the nature of these events, matches are not guaranteed. We ask everyone to come into the space with an open mind and know that connection and chemistry happens at it's own pace.
What if someone is creeping on me during or after the event?
Report them! DM, email, or call Jupiter’s Eye or even reach out to the event host Jazmin. We have a no tolerance policy for being a creep or any unwanted connections that were not expressly granted at the event by yourself.
Please read our code of conduct if you have more questions about what 'creep' behavior or unwanted connections are. We take this very seriously and want to ensure the safety for all of our attendees.
