Armed with his limited magic and carrying the burden of the lives under his command, Kegaar will need to face all his fears to succeed. If he’s caught while breaching the Sythral city, he’ll be at their king's mercy. A risk likely to get him turned—or killed—by the king’s dark magic.
Kegaar must survive the journey and return the fleece before total darkness sets on his people and his worst nightmares are realized—the Sythral eliminating the entire human race, starting with his family.

Tawnda Kippenhan’s debut book Light in the Dark is her dipping her toes into the creative pool of writing. She started making stories to encourage her daughters writing and it just kept growing. She is currently working on an epic YA fantasy series and a co-authored high fantasy with her young adult daughter.
She lives nestled in the foothills of Eastern Washington with her husband and kids along with their furry companions.
